Jalapeño Poppers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage  (or whatever you like)
  • 1/2-1 cup chopped green onion
  • 20-40 jalapeño halved and cleaned (depends on the size)
  • 3/4 pkg cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan

Instructions

  • Clean the seeds and veins out of the peppers, the more you clean the less hot they’ll be.
  • Place on parchment paper lined baking sheet or casserole pan.
  • Sautee sausage until almost done, toss in green onions to wilt.
  • Add cream cheese in small chunks until melted, thick, and creamy
  • Turn heat off, add 3/4 C of parmesan and just mix around til melted.
  • Let cool before stuffing into halved peppers
  • Sprinkle remaining parm on top.
  • Bake at 400 F til browned on top and peppers to desired texture. 20-45 minutes
