
Jalapeño Poppers
Ingredients
- 1 lb breakfast sausage (or whatever you like)
- 1/2-1 cup chopped green onion
- 20-40 jalapeño halved and cleaned (depends on the size)
- 3/4 pkg cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded parmesan
Instructions
- Clean the seeds and veins out of the peppers, the more you clean the less hot they’ll be.
- Place on parchment paper lined baking sheet or casserole pan.
- Sautee sausage until almost done, toss in green onions to wilt.
- Add cream cheese in small chunks until melted, thick, and creamy
- Turn heat off, add 3/4 C of parmesan and just mix around til melted.
- Let cool before stuffing into halved peppers
- Sprinkle remaining parm on top.
- Bake at 400 F til browned on top and peppers to desired texture. 20-45 minutes
