
Coffee Rub Oven Brisket
Ingredients
- sprinkle salt
- 5 lb brisket
- 2 tbsp ground coffee
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Sprinkle both sides with kosher salt
- Spread the rub all over the brisket
- Place beef in a pan with water or broth (don’t want your brisket to cook dry)
- Cover tightly with foil
- Set pan on top of a baking sheet lined with foil to catch possible overflow of juices
- Bake in the oven at 250 degrees for 10-12 hours
